AUDITION NOTICE

Synopsis:
Welcome to Windsor! In this small town, everyone knows everyone else, particularly when you’re in a certain social circle. When a stranger with a bad reputation arrives seeking his fortune, he stirs up a town full of trouble with his schemes. It’s up to the women of Windsor to teach him, and the other men of Windsor, an important lesson.

Character Descriptions:
There will be a cast of 17: 7 male-presenting, 4 female-presenting, and 6 individuals of any gender expression. More specific character information can be found here.

Audition Details:
Tuesday, June 17th and Wednesday, June 18th from 7:00-9:00 PM, no appointment necessary. Please arrive at 7pm and plan to stay for the full two-hour audition.

Audition Preparation:
Complete the audition form ahead of time, if possible.
● Please bring your headshot and resume to the audition, if you have either.
● Prepare a short comedic monologue from Shakespeare or one of his contemporaries.
● The audition will also include cold readings from the script, which are available for review here.

Rehearsals:
Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays 7:00-9:30 PM beginning on Tuesday, September 2nd. Not all actors will be required for all rehearsals.

Performance Dates:
Saturday, November 1st at 8pm
Sunday, November 2nd @ 2pm
Friday, November 7th @ 8pm
Saturday, November 8th @ 8am
Sunday, November 9th @ 2pm

Auditions, rehearsals, and performances will be at the Belmont Town Hall, 455 Concord Avenue, Belmont, MA.
